Call for applications for the “Raimondo di Sangro” research grant 2018-19

In conjunction with the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies, the Sansevero Chapel Museum is offering a € 12,000 (gross) research grant for the academic year 2018-19 to promote research on Raimondo di Sangro, Prince of Sansevero.

Particular consideration will be given to projects aimed at enhancing Raimondo di Sangro’s literary and philosophical/scientific profile and studies that deepen his social and cultural role in the wider context of Naples and eighteenth-century Europe.

The initiative is the result of an agreement between the Sansevero Chapel Museum and the Italian Institute for Philosophical Studies, which signed a protocol of understanding that would lead to the setting up of advanced courses in areas of mutual interest, specialist courses in the field of humanities, and the promotion of cultural exchange in scientific research, as well as dissemination and related educational activities.
